About the Health Colleges Library

The Faculty of Medicine was established in (1975 AC – 1395 H).
It includes a wide variety of scientific departments and branches. The Faculty provides a Bachelor degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS); as well as six master's degrees in: Clinical biochemistry, Physiology, Medical microbiology, Anatomy, Technical anatomy, and Pharmacology. In addition, the Faculty offers the opportunity for a range of international fellowships in all specialties. All our programs are approved and accredited by the Saudi Council for Health Specialties. We have three centers of excellence in King Fahd Center for Research: Center of Excellence for Osteoporosis; Princess Al-Jawhara Center for Excellence in Research of Hereditary Disorders; and Sheikh Mohammed Hussein Al-Amoudi Center of Excellence in Breast Cancer. Many Scientific Chairs adopt research and nurture researchers as: Mohamad Hussein Al-Amoudi Chair for Diabetic Foot; Salem Bokshan Chair for Dementia..etc. Our teaching hospital has obtained the Canadian accreditation in February 2009; and we obtained the ISO 9001-2000 in April 2008.
