In a vibrant display of sportsmanship and team spirit, the University Hospital team secured the championship title in the University President’s Futsal Cup, following a series of impressive performances throughout the tournament.

The tournament, held under the patronage and in the presence of University President Dr. Tareef bin Youssef Alaama, united 32 teams and 197 players in a thrilling knockout competition that kept the excitement high from start to finish.

The final match drew an enthusiastic crowd and was attended by senior university officials, deans, and staff, all contributing to an electric and celebratory atmosphere.

At the closing ceremony, Dr. Tareef Alaama presented the championship cup and gold medals to the University Hospital team. The General Administration of Operations and Maintenance secured second place, earning silver medals.

Individual awards were presented for Best Player, Best Goalkeeper, and Top Scorer.

Dean of Student Affairs, Professor Fouad Abu Laban, emphasized that the tournament reflects the university’s commitment to promoting physical activity, fostering a culture of teamwork, and strengthening values of fair play and engagement.

He also acknowledged the strong and continuous support of the University President for student life and extracurricular initiatives.

 

The event concluded with the recognition of the referees and organizing committees, in a festive atmosphere that embodied unity and institutional pride.
